Telecommunications Integrator Globecomm Systems launches IT Consulting brand.

Hauppauge, NY – September 8, 2008 -- Globecomm Systems Inc. announced the launch of its wholly owned subsidiary Cachendo; a provider of integrated, end-to-end Information Technology consulting services. Cachendo functions as an extension of the parent company; delivering professional services by contracting its skilled IT talent to organizations with complex technology challenges. Cachendo is based in Maryland with the majority of its work force in Washington D.C. or deployed internationally.

Globecomm will separate its professional services business unit from its telecommunication systems integration core business in an effort to segment and highlight its capabilities and offerings to client organizations. Also known for its globally deployed infrastructure and network services solutions, Globecomm formed its new brand to continue supporting the many mission-critical projects that pre-existed Cachendo’s creation.
